i go with the lucid dreaming coyote
to the fountain in the downtown square.
the coyote says there are eleven
universes existing in an alternate
dimension of the fountain's
cascading water.
i say,
"the motion of the cascading
water makes me almost believe
that there is a possibility of these
universes existing."
a strong wind blows through the
coyote's fur, tipping his ears,
as he stares into the fountain
with a profound confidence,
as if he can control his dreams.
then, he says to me, "'cascading'
is a vague term."
